Installation Instructions for 
Spellex Evaluation Programs for MS Word 2002 (XP)

Please print these instructions to install the evaluation version of the Spellex programs compatible with MS Word 2002 (XP).

1. Click on the download link and save the  file to your computer. Please make a note of the folder the file is being copied to.

    

2. Close all programs before starting the installation program.

    

3. Start the installation program by double-clicking on the Spellex program file.  This file should be located in your download folder.

    

4. After the installation program starts, follow the simple instructions on your computer screen.

    

5. The installation program will create a folder named 'C:\Program Files\Spellex\Spellex for Word 2002 (XP)' and install the necessary files to that folder.

    

6. When the installation program is finished, start MS Word XP and open the UK_speltest file located in your 'C:\Program Files\Spellex\Spellex for Word 2002 (XP)' folder.

    

7. Click on the Microsoft speller icon to spell check the UK_speltest document. This will ensure that the installation procedure was completed successfully.

Uninstall

To uninstall the Spellex evaluation program for MS Word XP, simply access your Add/Remove Programs feature from your Control Panel.

1. Click on your Start Button, go to Settings, Control Panel.

2. Double-click on your Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. Find the Spellex for Word 2002 (XP) from the list of programs.

4. Click on the Remove button.

5. Follow the screen instructions to completely remove the Spellex Evaluation program.
