Spellex SDK for Java^TM Technology

Synopsis

A class library developers can use to add a specialty spell checker to their Java applications, applets, and servlets. Includes a class library compatible with JDK 1.x and 2, a 115,000 word American English dictionary, and a 120,000 UK English dictionary. The Spellex SDK engine can spell-check words, Strings, and the contents of AWT TextArea and JFC JTextArea components. Source code for example AWT and JFC (Swing) dialogs and a working servlet is included. Applications can also call the Spellex API to check spelling and look up suggested replacements for misspelled words directly (click here for more information).

Works with

Java JDK 1.x and Java 2 on any platform supported by Java. Can be used in applets running under any Web browser and in servlets.
